1. Site publisher

This site is published on a personal basis, with no commercial activity. It is an independent project aimed at centralizing information about cultural events in Belgium. For any request, the publisher can be reached via the contact form.

Hosting: Infomaniak Network SA, Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Les Acacias (Geneva), Switzerland. The servers are located in Switzerland, a country recognized by the European Commission as offering an adequate level of protection within the meaning of the GDPR.

2. Purpose of the service

This site is a cultural events aggregator (concerts, festivals, shows) in Belgium and its surroundings. It collects and centralizes publicly available information from venue websites.

The site does not sell tickets and is not responsible for the information relating to events (dates, prices, cancellations). For any information about an event, please contact the venue concerned directly.

3. Terms of use

3.1 Access to the service

Access to the site is free and open to anyone with an internet connection. Creating an account is optional and gives access to additional features (favorites, alerts, saved searches).

3.2 User account

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep your credentials confidential. Any access via your account is deemed to be carried out by you.

You can request the deletion of your account at any time via the dedicated form, accessible from your profile settings. The request is processed as soon as possible.

3.3 Acceptable use

It is forbidden to:

  • use the service for illegal or fraudulent purposes;
  • attempt to disrupt the operation of the site (attacks, massive scraping);
  • impersonate another user;
  • post offensive content via the contact forms.

3.4 Liability

The site aggregates information from third-party sources. Despite the care taken, the accuracy and completeness of the information cannot be guaranteed. The publisher cannot be held responsible for errors, omissions or changes affecting the listed events.

The site may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance reasons or force majeure.

3.5 Applicable law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, the Belgian courts shall have sole jurisdiction.

4. Privacy policy

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU 2016/679) and the Belgian legislation in force.

4.1 Data collected

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address — main identifier, sending of notifications;
  • Username — displayed in your profile;
  • Password — stored in hashed form using a modern one-way algorithm, never in plain text;
  • Creation date and last login — for security purposes.

If you log in via Google or Facebook, we receive your email address, your name (used to generate your nickname) and your identifier with these services. An account is created automatically on your first login. No password is stored in this case.

4.2 Purposes of processing

Your data is used to:

  • manage your account and authentication;
  • send you the email alerts you have set up;
  • save your searches and favorite events;
  • occasionally send you tips and event suggestions to make the most of the service, which can be disabled at any time in your preferences;
  • ensure the security and proper functioning of the service.

No data is sold or used for advertising purposes by third parties. Our emails (alerts, reminders, tips) are part of the service and can be disabled at any time. Your data is only shared with the technical providers strictly necessary for the operation of the service (host, email sending service).

4.3 Retention period

The data is kept for the entire duration the account is active. In the event of a request to delete the account, all personal data is erased within a maximum of 30 days, with the exception of data required by legal obligations.

4.4 Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access — obtain a copy of your data;
  • Right to rectification — correct inaccurate data;
  • Right to erasure — delete your account and your data;
  • Right to portability — receive your data in a structured format;
  • Right to object — object to the processing of your data.

To exercise these rights, use the contact form. You can also manage certain information directly from your account settings.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (DPA).

4.5 Security

The site uses HTTPS for all communications. Passwords are hashed using a modern one-way algorithm. API tokens are randomly generated and have a limited validity period. Appropriate technical and organizational measures are implemented to protect your data against any unauthorized access.

4.6 Audience measurement

In order to understand the use of the site and improve it, we measure its traffic anonymously and without cookies: number of views per page and per event, and clicks to ticketing sites or venue websites. No individual profile is built and these measurements cannot identify you.

Visits are distinguished by means of a derived (hashed) technical identifier with a short lifespan; no IP address is kept in plain text. These statistics are neither resold nor shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

5. Cookies

The site uses only cookies strictly necessary for its operation:

  • Session cookie — maintains your login and protects forms (anti-CSRF token);
  • “Remember me” cookie — keeps your session for one year if you enable it.

No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used. The site's audience measurement is carried out without cookies (see the “Audience measurement” section above).
